Overview

Pandora provides streaming audio advertising solutions that enable advertisers to reach audiences through digital audio campaigns. Rockerbox integrates with Pandora to track streaming audio touchpoints and spend through automated reporting.

Tracking Method

This integration uses both impression tracking pixels and server-side logs:
  • Impression pixels provide real-time user-level tracking data
  • Server-side logs provide daily aggregate campaign-level data including spend and impressions
  • Both tracking methods are required for complete reporting and verification

Setup Instructions

  1. Enable the Pandora integration in your Rockerbox account
    • Contact support@rockerbox.com to enable the integration
    • Let them know the launch date and tier structure
  2. Rockerbox will provide an endpoint for:
    • Daily automated audio log files
    • Spend data
  3. Work with Pandora to:
    • Set up automated reporting following the requirements below
    • Configure proper file delivery to Rockerbox endpoints
    • Ensure all required fields are included in reports

Report Requirements

All files must align with the standard report delivery requirements:
  1. Files should be sent on a daily cadence
  2. Each file should contain the previous day’s data
  3. Reports must contain the columns exactly as noted below
  4. Files must be delivered to the designated endpoint
    • Find endpoint details under Data > Advertising Platforms > Pandora tile > “Instructions”

Required Fields

Reports must contain these columns exactly as shown, including capitalization & spacing:
  • Date
  • Campaign ID
  • Campaign Name
  • Creative ID
  • Creative Name
  • Ad Format
  • Audio Length
  • Impressions
  • Cost
  • Platform
  • Publisher

Verification

After setup:
  1. Confirm files are being delivered to the correct endpoint
  2. Verify data appears in your Rockerbox dashboard
  3. Check that spend amounts match your Pandora reporting
