Setup Process

  1. Contact support@rockerbox.com to enable the integration. Let the team know the launch date and the tier structure you’d like applied
  2. Append click-through URL parameters to your landing page URLs and apply the impression pixel to all active ads using the instructions below. Parameters use macros and do not need to be manually replaced
  3. Authenticate your Criteo account in Rockerbox to enable API spend ingestion (see API Spend section below)
  4. Allow at least one full day of data collection after launch, then confirm tracking is applied to all your ads using the Advertising Platforms page

URL Tracking Parameters

Append the parameters below to your landing page URLs for all display campaigns. Example Parameter String:

Impression Pixel

Apply the pixel below to all active display ads.
Note: [SOURCE] is a hardcoded value that must be obtained from Rockerbox. It’s your company’s Account ID.

API Spend

Rockerbox pulls spend data directly from Criteo via API.
  1. In Rockerbox, navigate to the Advertising Platforms page
  2. Select Criteo from the list and click “Connect”
  3. Complete the Criteo authentication process to enable daily spend ingestion
If you manage multiple Criteo accounts, repeat the authentication process for each account.

Troubleshooting Authentication

If your Criteo account shows as unable to connect and the account is already granted:
  1. Go to the Criteo Consent page
  2. Click “Revoke access” for the impacted accounts
  3. Return to Rockerbox and reauthenticate your Criteo account on the Advertising Platforms page

Verification

After setup:
  1. Verify impression pixels are firing correctly on both display and OTT ads
  2. Validate click tracking parameters are populating
  3. Confirm spend data appears in Rockerbox within 24-48 hours
  4. Contact support@rockerbox.com for QA assistance
