LiveIntent provides email-based advertising solutions with view-through tracking capabilities. The View Feature integration enables comprehensive tracking of email ad impressions and user interactions across campaigns.

Tracking Method

This integration uses a combination of tracking methods:
  • View-through tracking via server-side logs
    • Direct integration with LiveIntent’s impression tracking system
    • Provides user-level impression data
    • Enables email-based attribution
  • Click tracking parameters capture user interactions
    • Added to destination URLs
    • Preserves email context
  • Server-side batch file integration for spend data
    • Daily automated campaign-level reporting
    • Delivered via secure file transfer

Setup Instructions

  1. Enable the LiveIntent View Feature integration
    • Contact support@rockerbox.com to enable the integration
    • Provide S3 bucket information to LiveIntent
    • Setup typically takes up to 3 weeks on LiveIntent’s end
  2. Implementation requirements:
    • Conversion data must include email addresses (hashed or unhashed)
    • Coordinate between LiveIntent rep and Rockerbox representative
  3. Work with LiveIntent to:
    • Configure automated daily reporting
    • Set up proper file delivery
    • Ensure all required fields are included

Implementation Details

View-Through Tracking

  • Server-side integration provides:
    • Email-based impression tracking
    • User-level view data
    • Publisher information
    • Campaign context

Click Tracking

  • Parameters added to destination URLs
  • Required parameters:
    • Campaign ID
    • Creative ID
    • Publisher ID
    • Email placement data

Batch File Requirements

Daily files must include:
  • Event Date
  • Cost
  • Campaign
  • Name
  • Creative ID
  • Impression data
  • View-through data

Verification

After setup:
  1. Confirm view-through tracking is active
  2. Verify click tracking parameters are populating
  3. Check that spend data appears in your Rockerbox dashboard
  4. Validate that amounts match your LiveIntent reporting
