Overview

Display & Video 360 (DV360) provides programmatic advertising solutions across display, video, and other channels. Rockerbox integrates with DV360 to track campaign touchpoints and spend through automated reporting.

Tracking Method

This integration uses a combination of tracking methods:
  • Impression pixels provide real-time user-level tracking data
    • Currently only available for Display inventory
    • DV360 does not support impression tracking pixels on Video inventory
    • Uses dynamic macros for automated parameter population
  • Click tracking parameters capture user interactions
    • Added to destination URLs
    • Uses DV360’s dynamic macros
  • Server-side API integration for spend data
    • Daily automated campaign-level spend reporting
    • Includes detailed performance metrics

Setup Instructions

  1. Enable the DV360 integration in your Rockerbox account
    • Contact support@rockerbox.com to enable the integration
    • Let them know the launch date and tier structure
  2. Implement tracking:
    • Add impression pixels to all display ads
    • Configure click tracking parameters in destination URLs
    • Provide DV360 API credentials to Rockerbox
  3. Work with DV360 to:
    • Set up API access
    • Configure automated reporting
    • Ensure proper data flow

Implementation Details

Impression Pixel

  • Must be added to all display ads
  • Not supported for video inventory
  • Supports DV360’s dynamic macros:
    • %campaign_id% - Campaign ID
    • %creative_id% - Creative ID
    • %advertiser_id% - Advertiser ID
    • %insertion_order_id% - Insertion Order ID
    • %line_item_id% - Line Item ID
    • %site_id% - Site ID

Click Tracking

  • Parameters added to destination URLs
  • Required parameters:
    • Campaign information
    • Creative details
    • Placement data
    • Site identification

API Integration

Automatically collects:
  • Campaign spend
  • Impression volumes
  • Click data
  • Performance metrics
  • Creative analytics
  • Site-level data

Verification

After setup:
  1. Confirm impression pixels are firing correctly on display ads
  2. Verify click tracking parameters are populating
  3. Check that spend data appears in your Rockerbox dashboard
  4. Validate that metrics match your DV360 reporting
